Overview
The DRC Mental Health Track will provide a pretrial alternative for target population.
The DRC Mental Health Track will serve all 3 court levels (GDC, JDR, Circuit) in the County of Chesterfield and the City of Colonial Heights.
The DRC Mental Health Track will divert the individual from the jail and provide services during the pretrial phase. The trial phase will occur as normal, but at sentencing the DRC Mental Health Track will provide the court with extensive information about the client’s disease, treatment progress and appropriate post disposition treatment resources.
