Booker T. Washington Joint Commemorative Commission
The Booker T. Washington Joint Commemorative Commission was established by 2026 Senate Joint Resolution 111 to study and recommend to the General Assembly an appropriate statue and location on Capitol Square to commemorate the life, achievements, and legacy of Booker T. Washington. The Commission is a continuation of the Booker T. Washington Commemorative Commission established in 2021 pursuant to Senate Resolution 95.
