Mental Health Units
Residential Treatment Mental Health Units provides a 24 hour program to inmates with mental disorders not requiring acute care; available to inmates not able to adjust to the general population.
Six institutions have mental health units for a total of 377 beds.
One facility, Brunswick, is planning expansion for an additional 34 beds to treat the dual diagnosed.
