The average cost per inmate in community corrections programs in FY 99 was $1,295.
DOC was appropriated $824,039,626 in FY 01: $90,734,047 community corrections, $661,242,730 institutions, $33,457,821 correctional enterprises, and $38,605,028 central agency activities/management.
