• Now let’s look at how we serve the 669 MW load with this available generation.

• Remember, generators are dispatched to meet load in order of the bids, beginning with the least expensive unit.
  • Our most least expensive unit is the Brighton unit at a bid of $10/MWh. But the available capacity at Brighton is not enough to meet 669 MW of load.
  • Our next most least expensive unit is the Alta unit at $14/MWh. So we dispatch 69 MW from the Alta unit, in addition to the 600 MW from Brighton.
