Notes:
When we dispatch the system for this increased load, ignoring the thermal limit, we have the following results:
Brighton is dispatched at 600 MW.
Alta is the next least expensive unit, so we dispatch it for its full capacity at 110 MW.
Park City is then dispatched at 100 MW. We still have 90 MW of load to serve, so we dispatch Sundance at 90 MW.
We have now served our 900 MW load.
But we see that with these withdraws and injections, we have a violation, which is not acceptable.
We need to re-dispatch our system to meet this load and not violate the thermal limit.
