The brain injury registry; the Department of Rehabilitative Services. Eliminates the requirement that hospitals report brain injuries to the brain injury registry maintained by the Department of Rehabilitative Services (DRS), but requires the Department of Health to share all information that is obtained through the Virginia Statewide Trauma Registry with DRS. This bill is a recommendation of the JLARC report on brain injuries and a recommendation of the Disability Commission. Patron - Puller

State Lottery Department; lottery sales agents. Provides that a private, nongovernmental entity that sells a product, license, or other thing on behalf of an agency of the Commonwealth pursuant to a license or other regulatory process shall not on that basis alone be deemed to be under any program or activity receiving state financial assistance or under any program or activity conducted by or on behalf of any state agency for purposes of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
