TC is an intensive, highly structured residential treatment program where the “community” or group is the primary facilitator of growth and change.
TCs use confrontation and support groups, a set of rules and sanctions to govern behavior, and promotion of pro-social attitudes.
VADOC’s therapeutic community program is branded STRAIGHT: A Program for Life.
