MENTALLY DISORDERED OFFENDER
An individual under the supervision of the Department of Corrections who has been diagnosed by a licensed clinician as having a serious mental illness which results in a significant thought and/or mood disorder, and which impairs the individual’s judgment, perception of reality, and ability to deal with the daily demands of living.
