Legislative Mandate:
- When a pre-dispositional investigation is ordered (§ 16.1-273)
- When a juvenile is convicted of a felony or certain misdemeanor drug offenses (§ 16.1-273)
- When a juvenile is convicted of any first-time drug offense violation (§ 16.1-278.8:01)
