Summary: Detention Centers
Identified a need for a tool to be used by juvenile detention to evaluate the presence of risk for suicide and other “acute” mental health problems immediately upon admission.
An additional focused interview protocol was developed for use at the point of admission for the purpose of admission screening to determine emergent suicide risk.
